Is Social Media worth it?

It’s probably the first thing you do when you wake up in the morning and the last thing you do before you fall asleep at night. You pick up your phone, scroll through Twitter, check your notifications on Facebook, browse your Instagram feed. It’s just become part of the routine, day in and day out. When we spend time on social media, we are putting our energy towards other people. Often, they are people we do not know, do not care about, or may even strongly dislike. But when we spend a lot of time on social media, it is all too easy to slip into the habit of wasting our energy on people who do not matter to us. We feel pressure to add as many friends as possible on social media, but I recommend being very careful about who you add, follow, and interact with. Having thousands of “friends” might seem like a status symbol, but do you really need constant life updates from people you couldn’t care less about? We need be mindful about who we connect with and share our energy wit

To Love and to Let Go

He remembers the exact moment he fell for her. She was the center of the attention and he just had to know her. And when he got closer he saw the beauty that was deep down in the depths of her soul radiating out of her like an undeniable beam of light. She was physically attractive yes, but it was her very being that made her captivating. And he was for all intents and purposes captivated by her. When he finally did get her alone, he knew the exact reason why he needed to meet her. She was here to save him from all of the doubt that he been gripping him over the past year. He had been through hell and back and she was going to be the one to drag him out of the depths of his desolation. He remembers everything about that night. The way she smelled of flowers. The way his fingertips buzzed when their hands accidentally touched. And that first kiss, the sweetness that made his mouth water. He could never replicate those feelings again with another person. But like all fairy

5 Things Nepalese Needs To Relax About

Living in Nepal isn't easy; it has never been – neither for outsides nor for its own citizens. We may seem celebratory and full of life to the world outside, but only we know how suffocatingly uptight we are in our mindset. Here are 5 things we Nepali really need to relax about! 1. Public Display Of Affection © BCCL We Nepalese want to keep everything under wraps. Most of us were brought up in a way that we feel ashamed about expressing our love to people. Inter-Caste Marriages © Google image As preachy as it may sound, we're people before we are  Brahmin ,  Kshatriya , Vaishya, and Sudra . It takes compatibility and understanding for a marriage to work, not common religious grounds. The
